Fra Angelico

Fra Angelico (1387 - 1455) was commissioned to decorate friars' cells with frescoes. He was born in Vicchio di Mugelio, Italy and died in Rome, Italy.

Important works of art include the Christ Glorified in the Court of Heaven held in the National Gallery in London, UK among others.
