
The Belvedere owns the world’s largest collection of paintings by Gustav Klimt.

Lower Belvedere, the Orangery, and the Palace Stables is devoted to gold as a precious metal and its use in contemporary art.

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birthday of Gustav Klimt on July 14, 2012, the Kunsthistorisches Museum will showcase works by the painter.

From November 9, 2011, the Albertina presents an exhibition of René Magritte, one of the most renowned and popular artists of the 20th century.

The exhibition will present up to 200 drawings, watercolours and pastels by the Impressionists and Post-Impressionists.
