A heyday of courtly festivities and ceremonies, the reign of Maria Theresa was characterised by the end of the Baroque, the Rococo and the beginning of the Enlightenment. This age is reflected in exemplary fashion in the small figurines that were mainly produced in porcelain during the Rococo. The narrative wealth of these delicate porcelain figures can be admired in an exhibition in the Neoclassical Library of the LIECHTENSTEIN MUSEUM.
