An exhibition of the Kunsthistorisches Museum in collaboration with the Kunsthalle of the Hypo Cultural Foundation in Munich.
The exhibition "Dürer, Cranach, Holbein" is dedicated to the artistic look at the transition from the late Middle Ages to early modern period in the German-speaking world. On the basis of top-class works by Albrecht Dürer, Lucas Cranach the Elder and Hans Holbein the Younger shows how the man moved in 1500 into the center of artistic interest, such as artists to explorers and inventors of the advanced image of man.
The exhibition is then of 16 September 2011 to 15 January 2012 to see the Kunsthalle of the Hypo Cultural Foundation in Munich.

Albrecht Durer, 1471 - 1528, was a leading 16th century German painter.

Hans Holbein the Younger, 1497 - 1543, was an official court painter to Henry VIII in England.
