The Sharjah Heritage Museum was re-opened in the Heritage Area (Heart of Sharjah) in 2012 as part of an expansion plan, the original museum first opened in early 2003. The museum is dedicated to highlighting Sharjah’s rich traditions, customs and culture as a source of pride and inspiration to the people of the UAE and its visitors.

Discover the ‘Landscape’, ‘Lifestyle’, ‘Celebrations’, ‘Livelihood’, ‘Traditional Knowledge’ and ‘Oral Traditions’ of Sharjah’s rich heritage as you take on a journey through the museum’s six galleries.
